The Project
The SoleSwap Marketplace App is a platform that addresses the needs of sneaker enthusiasts by providing a user-friendly space for buying and selling used minimalist and barefoot style shoes.

To ensure that the SoleSwap Marketplace App met the needs and preferences of sneaker enthusiasts, extensive research was conducted. This involved a combination of surveys, interviews, and data synthesis techniques such as site mapping and infinity mapping. This research phase was instrumental in shaping the direction of the SoleSwap Marketplace App, ensuring that it met the needs and expectations of its target audience while fostering a sense of community and belonging within the sneaker culture.
Affinity Map
We chose to synthesize the data gathered from surveys and interviews using an affinity map to uncover patterns, themes, and insights that might not be immediately apparent from individual responses. By organizing and clustering related data points, the affinity mapping process allowed us to identify common trends, user pain points, and opportunities for innovation within the sneaker community.

User Personas
By creating user personas, we are able to design and tailor the app's features, functionalities, and user experience to better meet the specific needs of different segments within the sneaker community. User personas serve as valuable reference points throughout the development process, guiding decision-making and ensuring that the SoleSwap Marketplace App remains user-centric and relevant to its intended audience.

User Flow Photo
The user flows for the SoleSwap Marketplace App outlines the step-by-step journey that users take when engaging with the platform, from initial sign-up to completing a transaction. By mapping out these flows, we ensure a seamless and intuitive user experience, guiding users through the app's features and functionalities to achieve their goals efficiently and effectively.
Design
During the design phase, our focus was on translating user research insights into intuitive and visually appealing interfaces. Leveraging a user-centered design approach, we crafted wireframes, prototypes, and mockups to refine the app's layout, features, and interactions. By prioritizing user feedback and iterative testing, we ensured that the final design effectively met the needs and expectations of sneaker enthusiasts, enhancing their overall experience within the platform.
